ABOUT THE SEMINAR
This two-day course covers the development of cleanup objectives under the proposed N.J.A.C. rules.
Methods covered will range from simple equations through transport and fate modeling.
Focus will be given to the use of the SESOIL and AT123D models contained in the SEVIEW transport and fate modeling software.
Subject matter will also cover use of the SESOIL to MODFLOW/MT3D link contained in the SEVIEW software.
Participants will receive hands-on exercises using SEVIEW to establish clean-up objectives.

The overall goal of the course is to provide exposure to practical modeling methods.
Those already experienced in modeling will benefit from an introduction to the capabilities
of SEVIEW 6.3.

SEVIEW is a comprehensive program that links SESOIL to the SUMMERS, BIOSCREEN, AT123D, and MODFLOW/MT3D models. SEVIEW also links BIOSCREEN to AT123D.
|
|
Consultants and regulatory agencies around the world use SEVIEW, including the NJDEP, NYDEC, MADEP, NHDES, VADEQ and OHEPA.

PREREQUISITES
A basic knowledge of the MS Windows is recommended. Modeling experience is beneficial but not required.
