SESOIL and the Nile River The original SESOIL user’s guide, has a reference to the Bahr el Ghazal River, a tributary to the Nile River. It had been assumed that most of the water evaporated. The goal was to find out how much water could be reclaimed for use by Sudan and Egypt for agricultural production.
SESOIL and the Pinios River SESOIL was used for a water balance study of the Pinios River Basin in Greece. The principle goal of this evaluation was to determine if SESOIL, with its limited data requirements, could produce reasonable model results.
